Hollywood 2002

The page below is an archive of detailed information about Hollywood 2002.

March 24, 2002—Something this delicious only comes around once a year. The Twin Cities' only official Oscar Night® America party, will once again served as a fundraiser for the Minnesota AIDS Project, District 202, Open Arms of Minnesota, Turning Point and Planned Parenthood of Minnesota /South Dakota.

2,500 attendees watched the Academy Awards® on a movie theater-size screen, indulged in scrumptious desserts compliments of dozens of the finest Twin Cities restaurants, applauded live entertainment by Twin Cities performers, bid on exceptional silent auction items, and discovered who won the D.L. Mabery Awards for excellence in Minnesota filmmaking.

With celebrity emcees Harris Faulkner and Rusty Gatenby, Channel 5/45 Eyewitness News, the event rivaled the glitter and fashion of the Academy Awards® ceremony in Los Angeles.
